Convene Sustainability

 

Convene takes responsibility for sustainable events at all their locations, below are a few ways Convene is acting towards a sustainable future.

 

Convene is piloting a Nationwide food donation program with Copia in 2020, but is still utilizing local food donation programs for our edible surplus at quite a few locations.

Convene is in process of transitioning our single use disposable items to a more sustainable option, by partnering with Emerald Group, a domestic supplier of compostable & disposable items to eliminate paper where possible. 

Convene has started to look at its waste streams, to determine if and where they can look to reduce overall landfill waste
